Indiana Expansion Incentives for Clean Technology Manufacturer
Client Profile
A global manufacturer of low-to-zero emission technologies was evaluating an expansion project in Shelbyville, Indiana. The proposed facility would support both warehousing and assembly operations and included approximately $5.55 million in planned investment across land acquisition, building improvements, machinery and equipment, special tooling, and furniture and fixtures. The project was expected to create 37 new jobs ranging from warehouse personnel and service technicians to engineering roles.
The company engaged our Location Advisory Services team to identify and secure available state and local incentives tied to the planned capital investment and job creation associated with the project.
Process
Our team conducted a comprehensive review of the client’s project timeline, capital investment plans, workforce projections, and operational objectives to identify incentive opportunities that aligned with the expansion.
Acting as a strategic liaison between the client and state and local economic development stakeholders, we communicated the anticipated economic impact of the project, clarified program requirements, coordinated application submissions, and negotiated incentive opportunities designed to support the company’s long-term growth plans.
Through this process, our team helped the client maximize available benefits related to both job creation and capital investment while positioning the project for long-term success in Indiana.
Results
Our Location Advisory team successfully secured both state and local incentives to support the client’s expansion project. The incentive package recognized the company’s significant capital investment and commitment to creating new jobs within the Shelbyville community, generating meaningful long-term savings while supporting continued growth in Indiana.
