Bigelow Tea Co. Expands Operations in Kentucky
Bigelow Tea Co., a third-generation family-owned specialty tea business, announced plans to expand their current operations to a newly constructed 334,000 sq. ft. facility in Jeffersonville Kentucky. The newly built facility will allow the company to boost production and will create 31 new jobs, including mechanics, general production workers, and maintenance supervisors.
The company’s new facility and meeting targets for job growth make them eligible for valuable incentives. McGuire Sponsel’s Credit & Incentives services team helped secure incentives against its income tax liability and/or wage assessments.
The expansion is a key piece of the Governor’s agritech initiative, which connects Kentucky’s advanced manufacturing sector with their deep roots in agriculture, and aims to foster innovation and growth in these industries in the state.
