Approach & Results

Client Profile

A nationwide leader in logistics solutions, specializing in distribution, fulfillment, transportation, industrial real estate, and consulting. Headquartered in New Jersey, the client has been named a Top 100 Third Party Logistics Provider for 7 consecutive years and is committed to continuous improvement and reliability.

Process

To support the client’s expansion into Arkansas, our team engaged directly with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) and the client’s CPA to manage the application process. Given that hiring had already begun, our top priority was to act quickly. Leveraging our established relationship with the AEDC, we were able to expedite communication and advocate for an early start date. This ensured that new hires already on the payroll could be included in the program. Our proactive communication and detailed coordination across all parties enabled a smooth and timely approval.

Study Results

The client was awarded a state tax credit equaling 1% of the annual payroll for new full-time employees. This benefit will be realized annually for five years, providing a meaningful return on investment for the client’s Arkansas expansion. By securing an early start date, we ensured all eligible jobs, including those hired prior to project approval, were counted toward the incentive.
