Our Location Advisory team worked with an Indianapolis-based media company that focuses on podcast production for independent artists, writers and performers. They are investing in growing their headquarters by adding 25 new employees in Indiana by 2025.

They approached McGuire Sponsel to negotiate incentives for the new employees they planned to hire. Our Location Advisory team negotiated an EDGE tax credit with the IEDC by leveraging the addition of new jobs and headquarters growth in the state.  The process to negotiate and procure the credit took about one month.

Despite their job growth, it was unclear if Indiana would support the project because of the company’s industry focus in podcasts. However, because of the expansion of their headquarters, it was accepted and the credit was awarded to the company.
