Our team is proud to partner with clients in providing specialty expertise across global business services. At McGuire Sponsel, our approach breaks down the complexities of many international business challenges and opportunities our clients face every day.
To recap the growth and scale of our firm’s expertise, McGuire Sponsel merged in Align Global in January 2020 to add depth to our global business services practice (referred to as international tax services at the time). With this merger, Sean King joined the team with extensive experience to further our partnership promise to be the leading technical resource to CPA firms. Over the last few years, our clients consistently expressed a true need for a critical and complex international tax solution. Sean’s technical experience, cultural and commercial awareness and appreciation for the CPA/client relationship made it the obvious choice to bring an even more dynamic international solution to the market.
In November 2021, Jason Rauhe joined the practice to assist clients and add depth within all areas of the firm’s international services, including consulting, compliance, transfer pricing and IC-DISC.
McGuire Sponsel has a strong team of Global Business Service professionals to provide support to our CPA and partner firm clients as they navigate complex areas of business with their clients. For example, our team recently assisted an on-line, on-demand workforce platform company expand resources into Nepal and Kenya by providing transfer pricing documentation for these countries along with the United States and United Kingdom. In addition, our turn-key international tax compliance service line (including preparation and review) filled in technical expertise, risk management and CPA firm resource gaps by preparing Forms 5471 for their client needs.
