As a consultant for McGuire Sponsel, Michael Hammel focuses his time on building and nurturing relationships with CPA firms and other service providers in the Southeast. His goal is to maximize client service and provide credits and incentives to add to the clients’ success during the tax planning process.
Prior to graduate school, Hammel spent a year at McGuire Sponsel leading the internal cross-selling initiatives among all service lines. His primary responsibilities were to maximize clients’ credits and incentives opportunities, as well as grow the lead generation initiatives at McGuire Sponsel.
Hammel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and his Masters of Accounting degree with an emphasis in Taxation from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
