TJ Sponsel begins his career at a local CPA firm.
2005
Dave and TJ begin working together at a regional consulting firm where they begin to enhance the vision of bringing Cost Segregation and Research Tax Credit expertise to local and regional CPA firms.
November 2007
Dave and TJ form McGuire Sponsel sitting around a kitchen table with the key focus of serving CPA firms with an unmatched commitment to the CPA/client relationship and a high level of technical expertise. Kyle Riddle joined Dave and TJ as the first employee under the McGuire Sponsel brand.
2012
In an effort to further serve CPAs and their clients, the IC-DISC practice was formed to bring value to qualifying U.S. companies that export.
February 2012
Justin Gephart joins the firm after working for a local CPA firm.
January 2014
McGuire Sponsel launches the Credits & Incentives practice to deliver value to client’s that are adding jobs, expanding their operations, or relocating.
August 2014
With the firm growing, McGuire Sponsel opens their new office in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
