BIO
David Seibel is a Shareholder in McGuire Sponsel’s R&D Tax Credit practice, where he guides the development and refinement of the firm’s positions on the R&D Credit. He supports the R&D and Relationship Management teams by enhancing study methodologies, conducting final project reviews, providing technical tax research, and assisting with audit defense.
With a background in mechanical engineering and deep technical expertise, David brings precision and attention to detail to every engagement. He especially values collaborating with colleagues and alliance firms to navigate complex tax strategy and technical guidance. In addition to his work with R&D Credits, he has also consulted on Employee Retention Credits.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is also an Enrolled Agent, further strengthening the technical resources available to McGuire Sponsel’s clients.
Based in Indianapolis, David enjoys playing indoor soccer, volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, and spending time with his wife and their three children.
