Joshua Babb joins specialty tax and consulting firm as R&D consultant
INDIANAPOLIS – Joshua Babb joins McGuire Sponsel as a tax consultant, serving the firm’s clients in its Research & Development Tax Credit Practice.
Babb will be responsible for assisting clients with claiming and substantiating their federal and applicable state research and development credits.
“Joshua’s evaluation and client experience will help us grow our R&D Tax Credit Practice,” said McGuire Sponsel Managing Shareholder TJ Sponsel. “He will be able to assist an array of clients, and we look forward to having him on the team.”
Babb previously served as an associate underwriter for Chubb Limited in Chicago, where he evaluated and prepared business cases, including recommendations for referred new lines, endorsements, renewals, inspections, appraisals and submitted claims. He also worked as a durable medical equipment sales associate at Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy in Bloomington, Ind., where he was responsible for assisting customers in assessing and qualifying home health equipment for insurance reimbursement.
