Tri-State Cylinder Head Expansion
Tri-State Cylinder Head will invest 2.5 million dollars to upgrade and expand its existing 20,000 square-foot facility in Evansville. Specializing in high-precision cast iron welding, they will also install state-of-the-art machinery and custom welding infrastructure to support increased demand.
Following a change in ownership in 2016, Tri-State Cylinder Head sought to enhance their capabilities, expand their customer base and increase investments into their workforce and machinery. Due to level of growth these added resources would entail, Tri-State Cylinder Head began seeking additional options for this expansion.
Engagement with McGuire Sponsel
During their exploration process, Tri-State Cylinder Head engaged with McGuire Sponsel to assist and examine the options of expanding its existing headquarters or moving into other Midwestern locations. It was important to Tri-State Cylinder Head that they maintain their Evansville location if possible. Working closely with their leadership team, the city of Evansville and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), McGuire Sponsel led the incentives procurement process that ultimately procured payroll tax credits for the planned expansion of facilities. These credits will help Tri-State Cylinder Health to expand their current facility and stay in Indiana.
“Tri-State Cylinder Head has a bright future in Indiana, as they have seen substantial growth over the past two years,” said McGuire Sponsel Principal Steve Brunson. “We enjoyed working with their team to determine the best area for their expansion and are excited to watch their success.”
