Sponsel has helped McGuire Sponsel grow the R&E Tax Credit practice while serving as an extension of local and regional CPA firms. The practice has expanded from project based retroactive studies to a much larger practice line encompassing multi-year studies, ongoing annual engagements and audit defense projects. Under Sponsel's leadership the practice's approach to building conservative, methodical credit claims has proven very successful under IRS audit. With this success the firm has established itself as a leading technical resource to CPAs across the country.
