McGuire Sponsel is pleased to announce new hires and promotions within the firm. Justin Wood has been promoted from Tax Consultant to Manager within the Cost Segregation Practice. Jake Madore has transitioned from the firm’s Credits and Incentives Practice to a business development role, where he will work directly with businesses to identify opportunities. We are also pleased to welcome Tim LeMasters as a business development consultant, who will build and nurture relationships.
As a manager for the Cost Segregation Practice, Justin Wood leads the site work process for the cost segregation team. He analyzes clients’ properties to reclassify assets, maximize personal property and optimize depreciation deductions.
He is able to complete a comprehensive study that details the major components of a building and accelerate the depreciation schedule. Wood is dedicated to increasing cash flow for clients and producing conservative deliverables that withstand IRS scrutiny.
Wood’s prior experience in the construction field has equipped him with the technical knowledge to identify depreciable assets. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana State University.
Tim LeMasters joined the firm in early April. His responsibilities will focus on building and nurturing relationships with CPA firms and other service providers in the Midwest. With over 12 years of sales experience, LeMasters is committed to understanding clients’ needs and determining how McGuire Sponsel can bring value.
